You really can not use the phrase "Don't Fear the Reaper" without making me think of BOC and have a total fan moment and above all get the song stuck in my head.
Now that I've ranted, I can actually comment the picture. Yay!
The shading is absolutely fantabulous, especially knowing that it's done in pen. My favorite part has to be the scythe. I love that scythe. The horse is majorly cool too, but do I really need to say that? You draw the most awesome most realistic horses I've ever seen. You should be pretty confident in your ability to draw them and probably do not need anyone to tell you how great they are. Then again, maybe I just like to feed people's egos, cause seriously. Thats an awesome horse.

Whadaya mean don't fear him? I see that, and i'm running! Well...i would'a run some years back...truth be told i would probably resign myself to standing there and flipping him off right before he swings that sythe.
Excellent job with this one, too. Great work with that pen. I love pen and ink, but seldom get to do any of it. A lot of dark values in this, but you kept the visual information clear. Great work on this! :clap:
